It is psychotherapy,
which includes hypnosis as a means of helping you to get to the root of
your problem. It helps you examine old and present difficulties in a new
light.
It aims to empower you
to move on, with healthier ways of feeling and behaving, and to find harmony
and order.
The induction hypnosis is not
therapy. It is not enough to experience hypnosis and expect change for
the better. The skill and appropriate experience of the therapist is needed
to utilize hypnosis as a powerful and effective tool.
There is nothing that can be
done with hypnotherapy that cannot be done without. However the use of
hypnosis is a speedier, easier and more efficient way to effect change
than other therapies for many problems.
It is likely you will be taught
self-hypnosis to:-
a) Tune into ideas, suggestions and help given in previous sessions
b) Find peace, relaxation and harmony at times of need
c) Find new ways of solving problems.
Self Hypnosis is a skill that
gets easier with practice. You will rouse yourself at the time you have
chosen. In any unexpected, or urgent situation you would instantly take
yourself out of hypnosis.
